Terms and Conditions.
The ground rules for using StemSplit Studio — written in plain language, because legal text nobody reads protects nobody.
Effective date: November 1, 2026
1 Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using stemsplitter.tuti.lt (the "Site") and the audio tools offered on it (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the Service.
There is no registration, so acceptance happens the moment you start using a tool. These Terms apply to every visitor, whether you process one song or a thousand.
2 Who operates the Service
StemSplit Studio ("we", "us", "our") operates the Site, a suite of free browser-based audio tools: a six-stem song splitter, vocal remover, key & BPM finder, speed & pitch changer, remix maker, audio cutter, joiner and recorder. You can reach us at info@tuti.lt.
3 What the Service is — and isn't
- The Service is provided free of charge, without accounts, subscriptions or paid tiers.
- All audio processing runs locally in your browser on your own device. We never receive your files.
- Results depend on your hardware, your browser and the audio itself; we do not guarantee any particular quality level, processing time or availability.
- We may add, change, suspend or remove any feature, tool or the entire Service at any time, with or without notice.
4 Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only in ways that are lawful. In particular, you must not:
- Use the Service to process audio you have no right to possess or process under applicable law;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload or interfere with the operation of the Site, including automated scraping, hammering or denial-of-service activity;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, or probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Site;
- Copy, rebrand or redistribute the Site's code or design as your own service;
- Misrepresent the Service as your own product in publications or advertising;
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable copyright, privacy or other laws.
We may block access to anyone who violates these rules.
5 Your content and copyright
Your files stay yours
Your audio never leaves your device, so ownership of your files, your stems and anything you create with them is entirely unaffected — we claim no licence and no rights over your material, and we never see it.
You are responsible for the rights to the music you process
The Service imposes no technical restriction on what you process, but copyright in a recording and its composition belongs to its rights holders. Stem separation does not transfer or extinguish those rights. It is your responsibility to make sure you have permission — for example a licence, a clearance or an applicable legal exception — before processing copyrighted audio and before distributing, publishing or monetising anything derived from it. Covers, practice, private study and remixes cleared by the rights holder are typical permitted uses; uploading separated stems of someone else's commercial track to streaming platforms usually is not.
Complaints
If you believe the Site itself infringes your rights, write to info@tuti.lt with a description of the work and the alleged infringement, and we will investigate and respond promptly. Please note we cannot police, retrieve or remove audio that users process on their own devices, because we never possess it.
6 Our intellectual property
The Site's design, text, graphics, code and branding are the property of StemSplit Studio and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may freely use the Service and everything you create with it, but you may not copy the Site or its code to run a competing or derivative service without our prior written permission.
7 No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:
- the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free;
- separation, key detection or any other analysis will be accurate or meet your expectations;
- the Service will be compatible with every browser, device or audio format;
- defects will be corrected.
Any material downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of the Service — including your own exports — is done at your own discretion and risk.
8 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StemSplit Studio and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill or business interruption — arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
In particular, because all processing happens on your device, we are not responsible for data loss caused by browser crashes, closed tabs, cleared storage or hardware failures. Keep backups of anything you care about.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or the statutory rights of consumers.
9 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StemSplit Studio from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, the audio you process with it, or your violation of these Terms or of any third party's rights — including copyright claims relating to material you chose to process and distribute.
10 Third-party services
The Site uses Google Analytics for anonymous usage statistics. Your use of data collected through it is described in the Privacy Policy. The Service also relies on standard browser APIs (Web Audio, Canvas, microphone access) provided by your browser vendor; we are not responsible for their behaviour or availability.
11 Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be brought before the competent courts of the Republic of Lithuania.
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you additionally benefit from any mandatory protections granted to you by the law of your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms limits those protections.
12 Changes to the Service and to these Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If a change is material, we will do our best to highlight it on the home page.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force, and the unenforceable provision will be replaced by an enforceable one that comes closest to its intent.
